Cimarron Guitars was established in 1980 on a high, dry plateau in Southwestern Colorado, near the town of Ridgway. The dry, relatively mild climate is ideal for making accoustic and electric guitars.

We use only tried and true construction techniques, with no inferior materials, and are currently producing 30-40 instruments per year.
We keep a good selection of our instruments on hand, but custom orders are welcome and encouraged. Variables such as neck shape, fingerboard width, fret size, woods, pickups, hardware, inlays and finishes all help to personalize any instrument.
